Monmouth University Comes to the Washington Camp Ground

On September 17, 2022, Dr. Richard Veit Sr. Vice President & Professor of Anthropology at Monmouth University and some of his graduate students were invited to explore for artifacts. They made some very interesting finds which included a part of a musket, some pieces of pottery, and a 19th century coin. This only proves that much has happened here over these many years. More exploration will hopefully continue in the near future.
